Reverend and the Makers to headline Crookes Social Club in December as part of their ‘Old Socials Club’ tour

Reverend and the Makers will headline Crookes Social Club on 5th December as part of their recently announced ‘Old Socials Club’ tour.

The tour will see the band perform at 7 intimate venues across the country in November and December, including:

  • The Brickyard in Carlisle (on the 26th November)

  • British Legion in Dunfermline (on the 27th November)

  • Bilton WMC in Harrogate (on the 28th November)

  • The Welly in Hull (on the 1st December)

  • MASH in Cambridge (on the 3rd December)

  • Peckham Liberal Club in London (on the 4th December)

  • and, as mentioned, Crookes Social Club in Sheffield on the 5th December.

The tour was announced in conjuction with the release of their new single ‘UFO’. A groovy, sceptic’s rumination on our fixation with alien life, featuring gorgeous trumpets from Laura McClure, ‘UFO’ is the third single to be unveiled from the band’s upcoming 8th studio album, Is This How Happiness Feels, which is set for release on April 24th, 2026. Speaking about the new single the reverend himself Jon McClure said:

“I used to think UFO types were barmy. But maybe they’re not. Nobody knows, do they really? What is for certain is that if aliens do come, we should sort our shit out here on earth beforehand.”
