About Us

Jarred Up Magazine is focussed on documenting Sheffield’s sound and beyond: a DIY magazine celebrating music, art, and the culture that thrives beneath the surface.

We are a Sheffield-based cultural publication intent of providing a snapshot of the city’s rich music and arts scene, as well as taking a look at the wider UK music scene.

As part of the Jarred Up family, we are founded in a deep passion for all things DIY, and a love for the weird and wonderful in Sheffield.

From gig reviews and artist interviews, to essays and visual work, this magazine is a space for celebrating creativity present in Sheffield and beyond. We’re here to document Sheffield’s sound, amplify emerging voices, and give a platform to the culture that thrives just beneath the surface.

What is Jarred Up?

Jarred Up is a Sheffield-based music collective comprised of three different entities.

Presents: The main one, bringing you the very best bands and solo artists to Sheffield and elsewhere in the UK, with a focus on punk and psychedelic acts. Above all, we care about promoting the new and the interesting.

Records: For our closest friends, where we bring our DIY ethos to it’s zenith, working with who we see as the very best acts in the UK currently to help them get their careers to where we absolutely know they can be.

Magazine: Well, you’re here, aren’t you? Pretty self-explanatory!
